An exciting 5 day/4 night guided adventure trip in the San Juan Islands!*
Day 1**
Meet your guides on Lopez Island and enjoy lunch on the beach, an afternoon kayak tour, and a delicious dinner before settling in for your first restful night on "island time."
Day 2
After a morning standup paddleboarding lesson and tour we'll explore the island by bike and by foot - with unlimited opportunities to take trip photos, learn tidbits of fascinating island history, take in the views, sample local produce and wines, explore the beaches, and make memories with friends old and new.
Day 3
We'll travel by bike and ferry to San Juan Island to explore this harbor community and enjoy some of its best sights. Our route includes biking to a picnic lunch (12-16 miles), a tour of Pelindaba Lavender Farm, whale watching across Haro Strait from the Lighthouse at Lime Kiln State Park, and time exploring Friday Harbor's waterfront.
Day 4
On our fourth day we venture to Orcas Island by ferry as we continue to learn about some of the islands' most popular residents - the Orca Whales! A driving tour of the island brings us to Mount Constitution (the San Juan Islands highest point) along scenic routes featuring local artists. The afternoon includes a chartered whale watch tour as we continue to explore the coastline and learn about the Orca whales, harbor seals, sea lions, dals porpoise and other marine inhabitants of Washington's coastline.
Day 5
Our final day is spent enjoying a kayak or SUP tour to James Island - a 4 mile paddle to a beautiful and uninhabited State Park island for a picnic lunch on the beach. After some time exploring we'll make the return paddle to Lopez Island where we'll have a group photo challenge and say our good-byes. It's been an unforgettable week!
*This is a sample itinerary that is subject to change based on weather conditions, group needs, and availability.
**Start/end times for days 1 and 5 will be finalized by our office after the summer ferry schedule is published by WSDOT. You can anticipate a mid-morning meeting time for day 1, and an early evening departure on day 5.
Meet your guides on Lopez Island - the first stop on the Anacortes/San Juan Islands ferry route.
