The Survivor Quarter is an exciting 2.5-month immersion program (Jan/Feb/Mar) that includes 70 days of intense, hands-on leadership challenges and skill-building sessions in the outdoors. The Hawaiian coastline is our playground for this winter program – an ideal environment for outdoor exploration! Obtain industry certifications, improve your outdoor skills (and gain some new ones!) and experience the camaraderie of a team learning and exploring together.

The Survivor Quarter program is ideal for college graduates, gap-year students and motivated high school graduates who have a desire to pursue a degree or career in outdoor leadership, recreation, education, psychology, and more.
Participants work with their instructors to plan and implement both land and water-based adventures including; canoeing, backpacking, orienteering, surfing, standup paddleboarding, water rescue training, Wilderness First Responder medical training, diving, survival skills, culture & historical studies, stewardship projects, and community outreach programs.
