Whitewater Raft Guide Training

Adventure Rafting Company’s Whitewater Raft Guide Training is FUN, COMPREHENSIVE & SAFE! Students tell us that Raft Guide Training week is the most fun and challenging week of their life… We know that their future rafting experiences will top it! Working as a Rafting Guide is also one of the best ways to explore the outdoor recreation industry; gain confidence working with customers, learn valuable safety and rescue skills, become a reliable team player, and find out if adventure guiding is for you! Our instructors will prepare you to work as a commercial rafting guide, or to plan your own trips as a competent private boater. Whether you’re looking for employment in the outdoor industry or just want to learn the ins and outs of rafting and reading the river for personal enjoyment, our training program is just what you’re looking for. ACA Raft Instructor Certification Workshop

The American Canoe Association (ACA) Raft Instructor Course is an instructional program for experienced rafting guides (generally 2+ years of recent regular guide work). The course includes both on-water and classroom training and demonstrations.

Advanced Whitewater Raft Guide Training

This Intensive Class III-V Raft Guide Training course is for commercial and private boaters with extensive experience on rivers up to Class III. If you are looking to increase your skills and challenge yourself on the Skykomish River’s Class III-V whitewater, then this is the class for you!

Swiftwater Rescue Technician – SRT1

Swiftwater Rescue Technician (SRT1) training is designed to help prepare you for emergency situations that occur in moving water.  It is a 3-day intensive, hands-on course that includes classroom time and on-water scenarios. Class is taught by certified Rescue 3 International instructors.
