Wenatchee River Rafting
The attractions of the popular Wenatchee River are threefold: Plenty of Eastern Washington sunshine, pleasant scenery of the Wenatchee Valley, and Class III "big water" rafting!
The Wenatchee River is known as a great introduction to rafting for first time river paddlers. If you have friends or family who haven't experienced the thrill of a whitewater rafting trip, and you have the whole day to enjoy it, then the Wenatchee may be just the thing. Starting in Bavarian-themed town of Leavenworth, Washington the Wenatchee River winds its way through apple orchards on its way to our take-out in the town of Cashmere.
During this 15+ mile river journey, you'll enjoy calm areas perfect for water games and group activities, as well as Class III rapids that will challenge you to paddle as a team with names such as "Snowblind", "Drunkard's Drop" and "Rock 'n Roll." There is one portage (as a group we carry the raft around a dam) - a perfect time to stretch your legs! Your river journey will last between 4.5 - 5.5 hours.
