Semi-private paddling lessons are taught by our experienced, ACA certified Coastal Kayak and Whitewater Kayaking Instructors. Beginning to advanced paddlers will benefit greatly from our years of instructional experience – we will help you develop a solid foundation and master the essential skills quickly by building on your strengths and refining your current skill set.

Why Choose A Semi-Private Lesson?
We have found that many students have a more successful learning experience in a small group setting - there is no pressure of being the only student, and you won't get lost in the crowd - each paddler receives plenty of 1:1 attention from your instructor(s). A semi-private lesson may be the best choice for you if you learn effectively in a small group setting; watching, listening, and practicing your skills alongside of your friends.

If you would like assistance with your kayak roll, on-water rescues, paddling techniques, forward stroke, trip planning, sea kayak navigation, or want to increase your comfort level in challenging conditions or get a solid start in a new sport, we are eager to get you to the next level.

3 hour lesson.
1-3 paddlers.
Location determined by Instructor - depends on skills and conditions.
Equipment not included but is available for additional fee.
Additional hours available for $100/hour, per person.

Don't know any other paddlers? No problem! You can purchase a semi-private lesson and our instructors will match you up with another paddler (or two!) who have similar skill sets and/or goals. A great way to meet other paddlers!
