Please arrive dressed in your swimsuit/trunks, sandals that are strapped on, and sun protection (hat/visor/chapstick/sunscreen...). You will be outfitted with a SUP board, life jacket, paddle, and leash. Your 2-hour lesson begins with a quick on-shore introduction where your guide will present basic skills and answer any questions you have. Then we're in the water to practice kneeling and standing on the board, beginning paddlestrokes, and balance! As you gain comfort on the board, we'll move away from shore and take a short trip to get you in the rhythm of SUPing.
Each participant must review and complete our Liability/Medical Release form prior to taking part in an activity. Minors must have a parent signature. If you would like to have a copy of this form emailed to you please contact us.

Outdoor Adventures' expert paddling instructors will teach your kids the basics of this up-and-coming sport while encouraging safe and responsible choices while on/near the water. The instructors will demonstrate how to paddle and how to get on and off the board, followed by a guided tour where your new paddler can put their new skills to the test!
This 2 hour lesson will provide the basics of paddle boarding skills and a solid foundation for future paddling adventures! Our instructors are eager to share their love of paddling with your kids! We provide fun, hands-on activities and small class sizes - generally 3-5 students, allowing for plenty of individual feedback from the instructors and the opportunity to meet new friends.
This course is designed for kids between the ages of 12-15. Your child must be able to fit in one of our youth or adult-size pfd's in order to participate.
